Why Extra-Curriculars Matter
University is so much more than attending classes and completing assignments. For me, the real learning happened in the spaces between — in the late-night hackathons, the mentoring sessions, and the spirited debates inside club rooms. These experiences built skills that no curriculum could fully teach: leadership, collaboration under pressure, and the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.

Programming Contests & Hackathons
Competing in inter-university programming contests was one of the most formative experiences of my academic life. Working under time pressure, debugging in real-time, and collaborating with teammates to arrive at elegant solutions sharpened my problem-solving instincts dramatically.
Hackathons pushed me even further — from ideation to a working prototype in 24 hours. These events taught me how to scope a problem fast, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship something that works over something that's perfect.

Mentoring & Community
Perhaps the most rewarding activity was mentoring junior students in data analysis and web development fundamentals. Explaining concepts to others forces you to truly understand them yourself — and watching someone's confusion turn into clarity is one of the most satisfying feelings imaginable.
